- Forster Hand Held Outside Neck Turner The Forster Hand Held Outside Neck Turner allows a reloader to ensure the bullet is released consistently from the case neck.
- During one part of the ignition the neck needs to expand releasing the bullet.
- If one side of the neck is thicker the thinner side will cause the bullet to release early which causes a slight misalignment of bullet-to-bore that has a major impact on accuracy.
- With this turner case necks have uniform thickness thanks to the carbide cutter which is precision ground.
- In addition the micrometer knob makes adjustments to 0.0005 inches in either direction.
