- The spring-loaded jaws come into contact with the base of the cannelure making extraction more positive.
- These jaws are self-acting.
- After placing a cartridge in the die for reloading and activating the handle of the press they open and close on the cartridge case.
- With the handle raised the jaws open and release the case automatically.
