Details of COLT police positive

The Colt Police Positive Special is a small-frame, double-action revolver that was introduced in 1907. It featured a six-round fluted cylinder and was primarily chambered for the .38 Special cartridge and the 4 " variation weighed a scant 23 oz. The Positive Special incorporated Colt's "Positive Lock" safety, which prevented the firing pin from hitting the primer unless the trigger was deliberately pulled.
